I had to absolute pleasure of photographing Mark + Linda at their family homestead, where you could just feel the love surrounding you. Mark was born and raised here, and continues to make this his home with his wife Linda. This was the Hietpas Family Farm, and every Sunday the family still gathers in the garage, as it used to be the actual milk house.
Mark and Linda have been married for over 5 decades! And as you can tell from the photos, they are madly in love and can still make one another laugh. They have five wonderful children of their own, 21 grandchildren, and too many great grandkids to count!

I had the joy of photographing the Folliard Family in their home before the Holidays. Kate just turned four, and AJ just turned one! I’ve been taking their photos for years and it is so fun to see their babies grow!

Ginger and Tom welcomed me into at their home on snowy November morning. Their family surprised Ginger with the gift of photos for her 80th birthday. A thoughtful way to celebrate her 80 years of life and her and Tom's 65 + years of marriage!
Spending the morning in their cozy Milwaukee home, while sipping coffee, I learned a few things about what it takes to make it to 80 years of life + 65 years of marriage. As you can see they are still full of laughter and love! They shared the importance of staying active, not taking life too serious and finding hobbies that make you happy and give you purpose.
Sixty-five years ago Ginger and Tom met out dancing, they dated and married. Went onto have 4 beautiful children, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren! Needless to say, they have plenty to celebrate!
When I asked Ginger what she'd be doing on her birthday, she laughed and said, hopefully spending it alone.
Well Ginger, I hope you did not spend your birthday alone, you are one loved mom, wife, grandma and friend.

Welcome baby Julian! The Schmalfeldt Family welcomed little Julian a few weeks ago. They are first time parents and have that new parent glow about them, don't you think? Becky and Mike are so in love with one another and of course the newest family member, it was a pleasure to snap some photos for them! I also got to soak in some newborn snuggles while I was there!

Meet the beautiful Sutton family; Megan, Wes, Nolan and Blair. They are a local Whitefish Bay family, and repeat clients! I had the pleasure of taking maternity, newborn, and now six month photos of little Blair. I've also been taking Nolan's pictures since he was one years old - I love seeing these little humans grow up!

The Eatman family welcomed little Teddy about one month ago, and clearly are quite smitten with him. Of course who wouldn't be, he is just adorable! Seth and Michelle are so in love and are proving to be a great team as they tackle the adventure of becoming parents. It was inspiring to spend the morning with them and capture this precious time as a new family of three.
I had the absolute pleasure of photographing the Campbell family with the beautiful fall colors in full show! Maria is a fellow photographer and friend who does absolutely beautiful work which you can check out here! Their two little girls had so much fun running around outside and were clearly very comfortable in front of the camera. I guess that is what happens when your momma is a photographer!

I had the opportunity to spend a beautiful fall afternoon with the Collin's Family at Barthel's Fruit Farm in Mequon, Wisconsin. This family is always laughing and was such a joy to shoot. The love between their boys is so adorable and made for a fun family shoot.

The adorable McGee Family was so much fun to hang out with and shoot at Barthel's Fruit Farm in Mequon, Wisconsin. Barthel's is just north of Milwaukee, and is a great family friendly location to spend a beautiful fall afternoon. The apples are rather delicious, as you can see these kiddos enjoyed them during the shoot!

As the warm sunset is upon our backs, The Knigge-Rondeau Family spent the night twirling in the cool water, skipping rocks, singing songs and making funny faces. Really, whatever it took to get all 3 kiddos to smile and have a good time. This Mama + Daddy duo continues to amaze me with their amount of apparent love and patience. The Leibham's Beach Photoshoot may have taken the cake on sunset shoots. We were invited to a private residence to capture the sunsetting during prime golden hour! Ahhh a photographers dream!

Party of 6 please! The Crowbridge Family makes having 4 kids look easy, don't they!? Little do you know Kopps Icecream was on the line, and these kiddos were listening to everything their Mama was saying, let's be real, it's Kopps Ice cream! Wouldn't you listen too?!

As the sunsets The Piller Family took a dip in Lake Michigan. Giggles and a few rounds of ring around the rosie, red light, green light and of course skipping rocks made for some rather magical shots. Thank you Piller Family for allowing me to be part of such a special time in your life.
Blaire Dale Sutton has not only stolen the heart of her daddy but as you will see below she has also stolen her older brother Nolan's too! I am so honored when families ask me to take their maternity photos, fresh 48 and then their in-home lifestyle session. Within a few shorts weeks I have the privilege of capturing such an incredible time and new life happening right before my eyes! I look forward to watching this little peanut continue to grow! Welcome BDS, you are so loved.
By the looks of this adorable family you wouldn't know that their moving trucks are packed and their charming Whitefish Bay bungalow is sold. Before heading out of the city they agreed to one last photoshoot. Atwater Beach in Shorewood is a place near and dear to Doug and Erin. What better way to end one of their last nights in town than an evening photoshoot and a quick dip! Summer nights like this one are what dreams are made of.

The Sauder's welcomed their little miracle to the world just a few weeks ago! With being their neighbor it's been so fun to watch this little peanut grow both in and out of mama's belly! Our little muchkin, Charlotte, now has a new playmate on the block.

These first few weeks of being a new parent go by so fast. The combination of no sleep and figuring out this new little human is exhausting. You wouldn't know it by looking at Maggie and Kenny, they're so natural!
